Anchorages in Stockholm Archipelago
Isostatic uplift 5mm/year — use current digital charts
The Stockholm Archipelago rises 5mm per year through isostatic rebound — rocky shoals that were submerged when charts were surveyed may now be hazards. Always use current digital charts (Navionics or Sjöfartsverket). Bird sanctuaries are closed to landing April 1–July 31. Baltic water level varies up to 1m with wind and pressure — not tides.
