Anchorages in Gdańsk Bay
Puck Bay draught warning — shallow inner bay
Puck Bay (Zatoka Pucka) has an average depth of 3–5m — keelboats with draught exceeding 1.5m are excluded from the inner bay. The outer bay (Puck Bay Outer) is navigable with care to approximately 1.8m draught. Baltic water level fluctuations (±0.7m with wind) are critical in these shallow depths. Strong westerly winds create dangerous fetch across the full bay. Monitor VHF Ch. 12 for Gdańsk and Gdynia port traffic.
