About This Anchorage
Trzebież (Ziegenort in German) is a small town and harbour at the southern end of the Szczecin Lagoon, marking the transition point between the lagoon and the Oder River approaches to Szczecin. The harbour is used by both leisure yachts and smaller commercial vessels using the inland waterway system. The town has a modest yacht club and basic facilities. The lagoon here is at its narrowest before the river mouth — the character of the water changes from open lagoon to sheltered river. The approaches to Szczecin begin here, with the commercial fairway well-marked. A practical overnight stop for vessels transiting between the lagoon and the city.
