Kick ‘em Jenny: Active submarine volcano 8km north of Grenada — mandatory 1.5km exclusion zone (expanding to 5km in heightened seismic activity). Check UWI Seismic Research Centre (uwiseismic.com) before any northbound passage to Carriacou. Entry — Q flag and Customs/Immigration mandatory at Prickly Bay (L'Anse aux Épines) or Port Louis Marina on first arrival in Grenada. Port Louis Customs: Mon/Wed/Fri 0800–1600 only. Hurricane belt check: Grenada is south of the main hurricane belt at 12°N — year-round sailing — but confirm your insurance policy permits Grenada June–November if applicable. GCMA moorings at Morne Rouge, Mount Hartman Bay: voluntary payment supports local infrastructure; always inspect pennant before use.
