Anchorages in English & Falmouth Harbour
The historic heart of Caribbean sailing — Nelson's Dockyard UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Pillars of Hercules entrance, Shirley Heights Sunday BBQ, and the most famous anchorage in the eastern Caribbean.
Entry Rules & Sailing Week — Read Before Anchoring
Port Health FIRST: The Port Health officer must board and clear your vessel before any crew goes ashore. After Port Health: Customs, Immigration, Port Authority. Do not leave the vessel until all four offices are cleared. Nelson's Dockyard (UNESCO): Anchoring inside the inner harbour is not permitted — marina berths only; National Park rules apply throughout; no coral contact. Antigua Sailing Week (late April/early May): Book marina berths 6+ months ahead. Falmouth mooring buoys: hail “Sea Pony” on VHF 68.
