About This Anchorage
Lambeau Bay lies on Tobago's south coast between Scarborough (3nm east) and Crown Point (12nm west) — a residential and light commercial bay that functions as a practical overflow anchorage for boats waiting for customs clearance in Scarborough or staging for the passage west to Crown Point. The bay is part of Lambeau village, a suburb of Scarborough with local amenities within easy reach. The holding in mud and sand is good and the bay is reasonably sheltered from the northeast. Exposed to south and southwest — monitor conditions for weather systems approaching from the south. A functional rather than scenic anchorage — useful for its proximity to Scarborough's provisioning without the commercial port activity of the inner harbour.
