About This Anchorage
Petit St. Vincent (PSV) is a private island resort at the southernmost tip of the SVG Grenadines — one of the most famous and most exclusive small island resorts in the Caribbean world. The resort has operated since the 1960s and is known for its no-phones, no-TV, flag-communication-only approach to luxury (guests raise a yellow flag for service, a red flag for privacy). The island is surrounded by beautiful coral reefs and clear Caribbean water. Visiting sailors are welcome to anchor in the surrounding waters — the anchorage on the northwest side works in lighter trade conditions. Landing on the island itself requires prior arrangement with the resort, but the snorkelling from the boat in the surrounding waters is exceptional. PSV marks the SVG boundary — Grenada is 10nm to the south, and the passage south to Grenada's Carriacou and Petit Martinique begins here.
