Tidal navigation warning — Wadden channels and Texel Stroom
Daylight-only navigation in all Wadden channels. The Texelstroom and Marsdiep carry 3–4kt tidal streams at springs — time passages for HW slack. The IJsselmeer is non-tidal (Baltic-like) but can build steep short seas in strong SW winds due to the large inland fetch. Electronic charts mandatory; yellow channel poles shift seasonally.
