Blue Lagoon — Mooring Buoys Mandatory & Extreme Crowds Jun–Sep
Anchoring on Posidonia inside the Blue Lagoon swimming zone is prohibited — mooring buoys are mandatory. In July–August, 100+ boats plus day-tripper ferry traffic fill the lagoon during daylight. Arrive after 17:00 when ferries depart for a peaceful overnight. Cominotto is a nature reserve — no landing permitted. Mooring buoys on the Cominotto side: approx. €10–15/night. Free anchoring in adjacent bays (Santa Marija, Cominotto N). VHF Ch 16 patrol operates in summer — monitor continuously.
